Excessive Heat Warning issued July 30 at 2:03AM CDT until July 31 at 7:00PM CDT by NWS Springfield MO

* WHAT…For the first Heat Advisory, heat index values of 105 to
110. For the Excessive Heat Warning, dangerously hot conditions
with heat index values of 110 to 115. For the second Heat
Advisory, heat index values of 105 to 110.

* WHERE…Portions of southeast Kansas and central, southwest, and
west central Missouri.

* WHEN…For the first Heat Advisory, until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.
For the Excessive Heat Warning, from 1 PM this afternoon to 7 PM
CDT Wednesday. For the second Heat Advisory, from 7 PM Wednesday
to 7 PM CDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Heat related illnesses increase significantly during
extreme heat and high humidity events.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
