Woman hit by propeller at Lake of the Ozarks, taken to hospital with serious injuries

LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Greenwood, Mo. woman was seriously injured at the Lake of the Ozarks Saturday evening, according to an incident report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the report, Sophie Mount, 24 left a 2023 Lowe Pontoon, when she was hit by its propeller at 5 p.m.

Mount was taken by a Lakewest ambulance to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the vehicle, Kameron Trask, 25 of Garden City, Mo. was not injured.
