Columbia Police Department present at home in south Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia Police Officers, Crime Scene investigators, and a bearcat were all seen outside of a home in Southwest Columbia on Saturday.

The Columbia Police Department presence was seen outside of a home on Bethany Drive early Saturday morning.

ABC 17 News crews arrived at the scene around 7:30 a.m. and saw 4 Columbia police cars and a barecat with the departments SWAT team. The team entered the home but exited without any suspects.

A crime scene investigation unit showed up about 10-15 minutes later and began searching the home and backyard.

Our crews asked police on scene for more information but they said they cannot share any information at this time. ABC 17 News has reached out to the department for more information.
