Mizzou hoops coasts to a season opening win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou men's basketball team dominated Arkansas-Pine Bluff in the season opener, on Monday night at Mizzou Arena. The Tigers topped the Golden Lions 101-79.

It is the fourth time in MU history that a team has hit 100 points in a season opener.
Five Tigers got into double-digit scoring in the win: Sean East, Nick Honor, Tamar Bates, Caleb Grill and Noah Carter. East led the charge, though, with 21 points, along with two assists and three rebounds.

Overall, MU shot about 55 percent from the field and 37 percent from 3-point range.
Mizzou also attacked the boards effectively, on Monday, out-rebounding the Golden Lions 38-29. Sophomore Aidan Shaw led the team with nine total rounds on the night.
