COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 32-year-old man and a baby girl were killed in a car crash on Tuesday evening in Lawrence County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol says Wyatt Seelaus Cady traveled off Route 96 and overcorrected, causing him to hit 31-year-old Craig Forrest's vehicle head-on.

Cady and a baby girl in Forrest's minivan, were pronounced dead at the scene. Forrest and a 3-year-old boy in his car sustained serious injuries and were flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

The crash report says Cady was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash but the other three involved were properly restrained.
