Three teens seriously hurt in crash in Macon County

MACON COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Three teens are recovering in the hospital from serious injuries after a crash Saturday night in Macon County, according to Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to Troopers, the crash happened just after 10:00 p.m. on Route T one mile east of College Mound.

The Highway Patrol says, a 17-year-old, 18-year-old Anthony G. Fields, both of Moberly, Missouri, and 19-year-old Cecila J. Warring of Excello, Missouri were traveling westbound on Route T at the time of the crash.

Troopers said, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and then overturned. The 17-year-old and Warring were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash but Fields was not, according to the crash report.

Troopers say, the 17-year-old and Fields were flown to the University of Missouri Hospital while Warring was transported by Macon County EMS.
