Vandalia woman seriously hurt in Audrain County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Vandalia woman is recovering from serious injuries after an Audrain County crash on Wednesday.

According the Highway Patrol crash report, 65-year-old Valera Pabst-Bostic was driving a sedan along Route KK just west of Laddonia around 12 p.m. That's when troopers say her car went across the left side of the road, crashed into a road sign, went into the air and hit a bridge support.

The crash report says Pabst-Bostic was taken to University Hospital to be treated. Troopers say it's unknown if she was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
