Four-star linebacker becomes fifth Mizzou football commit in four days

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Eli Drinkwitz keeps the commitments rolling into the new week with four-star linebacker Nicholas Rodriguez becoming the fifth Mizzou commit in four days.

The 6-foot-1, 190 pound commit from St. Thomas Aquinas in South Florida announced his commitment to Mizzou one day after his high school teammate did so, three-star defensive tackle Justin Bodford.

During their junior campaign, Rodriguez and Bodford were apart of a 14-0 program and won a Florida 3M state title.

Rodriguez primarily as weak side linebacker totaling 93 tackles, 10 for loss, five sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception. He also blocked a field goal.

With Monday's commitment, the 2024 class is now up to eight total commitments. Rodriguez is the first four-star of the bunch.
