Woman hurt after WaveRunner crash at Lake of the Ozarks

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol a 41-year-old woman was hurt in a WaveRunner crash on Sunday afternoon.

Troopers say New Hampshire resident Melissa Gregg hit a series of wakes and was thrown off the 2021 Yamaha PWC. Gregg was moderately injured in the crash and was taken to Lake Regional for treatment.

MSHP reports Gregg was wearing a life jacket at the time of the incident around mile mark 17 of the Main Channel.
