A Texas high school cheerleader says she tries not to think about the man who allegedly shot her after a teammate mistakenly entered his car in a supermarket parking lot. Payton Washington told ABC’s Good Morning America on Friday that she just wants to be a normal high school senior. Washington was shot three times and the teammate who got into the wrong vehicle was grazed by a bullet in April in the parking lot in Elgin, near Austin. Pedro Tello Rodriguez Jr. is charged with engaging in deadly conduct in the shooting.
