Man seriously hurt in Boone County motorcycle crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Minnesota man is seriously hurt after a motorcycle crash in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report states 24-year-old Jaylen Brownlee was riding a motorcycle along Route VV on Monday night.

Highway Patrol says a sedan was driving along the road and began to slow down and make a U-turn. That's when law enforcement says Brownlee began passing traffic and collided with the sedan.

Brownlee was taken to University Hospital for his injuries. The 24-year-old driver of the sedan was not hurt in the crash.

MSHP says Brownlee was wearing a helmet at the time.
