MU Health Care names new chief financial officer

MU Health Care

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

University of Missouri Health Care will soon have a new financial leader.

The health care provider announced Thursday that Dustin Thomas will take over as the next chief financial officer. Thomas will join MU Health Care on Sept. 15 after working for the University of Texas Medical Branch.

He currently serves as the medical provider's chief analytics officer and health system chief financial officer.

"Dustin is a proven financial leader with a strong academic health system background," said MU Health Care interim chief executive officer and Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs Nim Chinniah. "He will be an exceptional addition to our executive team and joins a group of talented and committed leaders."

Thomas replaces Kay Davis, who joined MU Health Care back in 1988.
