COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person was seriously injured after a rollover crash along Highway 63 led to the temporary closure of lanes early Thursday afternoon near the Boone/Callaway County line.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report indicates a 2000 Chevy Trailblazer hydroplaned on Highway 63 and the driver, 60-year-old Kelly Tosh, overcorrected causing the vehicle to overturn. The vehicle came to a rest in the median.

Southern Boone Fire District firefighters responded to the scene.

Lanes on each side of the highway were briefly shut down during the crash response. It wasn't immediately clear whether anyone was hurt.

Tosh reportedly had minor injuries. The passenger, Joan Robert, 62, of Independence, KS, reportedly had serious injuries. Both were taken to University Hospital for their injuries.
