Jefferson City approves funding to give employee raises, a one-time $2,500 payment

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The city council of Jefferson City approved several requests for more than $5 million of the ARPA funds.

One makes it so every city employee, other than police officers will get a raise.

The other makes it so every essential worker, whether they are full-time or part-time gets $2,500 this year.
