Boone County will begin Lake of the Woods Road asphalt repair and overlay project on Monday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Boone County Resource Management will begin an asphalt repair in preparation for an asphalt overlay on Lake of the Woods Road from Mexico Gravel Road south to the county maintenance ends sign just north of the round-about on Monday.

Crews will begin work at 7 a.m. and last until 5 p.m. on July 1.

Officials say a pilot car will be utilized to guide the traveling public through the work zone.

Boone County is requesting drivers to use caution in all construction/work zones and find an alternate route when necessary.
