Crash shuts down part of Route WW east of Columbia
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A crash shut down eastbound Route WW at Olivet Road east of Columbia on Monday.
Emergency dispatchers sent out a public alert about the crash a little before 5 p.m. The alert urged drivers to avoid the area if possible.
Emergency radio traffic indicated three vehicles were involved. Information about the cause and extent of injuries was not immediately available. Seven people were involved in the crash, a Boone County Fire Protection District spokesman said.
The scene was cleared before 5:30 p.m.
