Man dies after crash in Miller County

MILLER COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Troopers investigated a deadly motorcycle crash in Miller County on Saturday morning.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the wreck happened on Route W near Frazier Oaks Road at 10:30 a.m.

Troopers said 64-year-old James Hummer Jr. lost control on a curve, went off the road and overturned.

Medics pronounced Hummer dead at the scene just before 11 a.m. Troopers said Hummer was not wearing a helmet.

According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, this is Troop F's first death for the month of June and the 32nd fatality in 2022.
