Motorcyclist suffers fatal injuries in crash on Frog Hollow Rd.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A motorcyclist suffered extreme head trauma and is dead, after a motorcycle crash on Frog Hollow Rd. near Capital City High School ball fields Saturday.

The motorcyclist was traveling southbound of Frog Hollow Rd. when for an unknown reason, he applied his rear break resulting in the motorcycle beginning to slide and rotate clockwise.

The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle resulting in extreme trauma to his head. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Law enforcement shut the roadway down for approximately two hours while the scene was investigated.
