Tracking a chilly end to the week
TONIGHT
Gusty west winds will transition to a lighter breeze this evening. More cloud cover moves in tonight as well, and a few hit and miss showers remain possible with this extra moisture. Still, most will stay dry tonight, with temperatures dropping into the upper 30's.
THURSDAY
Tomorrow is shaping up to be a bit cooler as clouds thicken into the daylight hours. This will also introduce more serious rain chances. Scattered showers will circle back through mostly during the afternoon and evening hours as this upper low is slow to leave. Overall expect a mostly cloudy day in the low 50's with shower chances late in the day. Thursday night, some showers may transition to snowflakes. This is another one of those setups where we may get a few flakes to the ground, but it will have little impact. Where snowfall is persistent, we may see some grassy spots with a coating but it will melt quickly after the snow stops. Even IF we get down to 32, ground temperatures won't, so it isn't much to get excited (or anxious) about.
EXTENDED
Any elevated accumulation disappears quickly after sunrise on Friday where we are still in the upper 40's. We’re drying out this weekend, with sunshine breaking back out on Saturday. Highs will push into the 50’s on Saturday, warming into the 70’s by Sunday. Rain chances return late Sunday night and will be off and on to start next week.
