CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Four women from Lake Ozark were hospitalized Monday night after crashing a golf cart in Camden County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol's crash report said the crash happened at 6:30 p.m. on Carroll Road, about five miles north of Lake Ozark.

Troopers said Audrey Hancock, 72, and Lyneta Goens, 69, were seriously hurt. Two others had moderate injuries: Marla Allman, 67, and Retha McCaleb, 71.

Lake Regional Hospital officials told ABC 17 News Tuesday morning that all four women were treated and released.

The crash report said Kimya Bowden, 63, was driving the Yamaha golf cart when it started skidding. The golf cart then flipped over and threw four women out of the vehicle before crossing back over the road and going off the left side.

Troopers said Bowden, the driver, was not hurt.

None of the women were wearing safety devices, according to the crash report.
