Boy seriously hurt in Saturday morning shooting along Highway 63 in Columbia

COLUMBIA, MO. (KMIZ)

According to Columbia Police, a boy was seriously hurt after getting shot along Highway 63 on Saturday morning.

CPD states around 12:05 a.m. they were called to the area of Highway 63 and Paris Rd. for a report of shots fired.

At the scene, they found a boy who had been shot and he was taken by EMS to a local hospital.

Police say there is no suspect information to provide to the public at this time and the incident is an ongoing investigation.
