Former Tigers give hope for their futures at Mizzou Pro Day

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Fourteen former Tigers participated in Pro Day Friday at Mizzou to work out in front of NFL scouts.

All eyes were on standout running back Tyler Badie. Badie was measured at 5-foot-8, 197 pounds at last month’s NFL combine. Although Badie said he still hears some chatter that he’s too small, he says he feels like he has proven himself on the field.

"Theres always going tp be doubts when you do anything, someone's going to tell you you're wrong regardless of what you're doing, but my thing is just putting my best foot forward in everything I do," Badie said.

"You can look at the stats, you can look at the film, you can look at my production, you can look at anything you want to look at. Combine, Senior Bowl, I dominated everywhere I went so really size doesn't really matter. If you can play football, you can play football and that's obviously what I showed," Badie added.

Draft prospect, cornerback Akayleb Evans, also represented Mizzou at the NFL Combine. He ran a 4.46-second 40-yard dash in Indianapolis.

Evans said he’s talked to numerous NFL teams. He said the Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans and Cincinnati Bengals stood out.
