Tracking a rainy week ahead

Tonight: Slight cloud cover pulls in from the west leading to partly cloudy skies overnight. Winds remain out of the south at 5-10 mph as the overnight low falls to the lower '50s.

Tomorrow: Winds begin to increase in the mid-morning hours along with cloud cover with gusts up to 25 mph possible. By late Monday afternoon, the high climbs to the mid-'70s before showers move in from the southwest.

Extended: A low-pressure system makes its way directly through the heart of Central Missouri Tuesday around noon leading to afternoon showers with isolated storms. Temperatures begin to fall slowly after the passage of the low just below average while showers persist through Thursday morning. Conditions begin to improve into next weekend with temperatures near average and skies clearing.
