Krings throws perfect game to end perfect weekend for MU softball
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The No. 8 Mizzou softball team beat Bradley 8-0 in six innings on Sunday to complete a perfect weekend. It was only fitting - Laurin Krings threw a perfect game in the finale.
Krings is just the 12th Mizzou softball player to ever throw a perfect game. She's the first to do it since Chelsea Thomas accomplished the feat in 2011.
MU won all four of its games in the Mizzou Tournament by a combined score of 42-3. The Tigers are now 16-4 on the season. Up next - Mizzou will host Tennessee for a three-game series starting Friday at 5 p.m.
