Mizzou hoops beats Georgia on senior day

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team beat Georgia 79-69 on senior day. It snapped the Tigers six-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the Bulldogs have now lost 11 straight games.

The Tigers outscored Georgia 49-30 in the second half. Senior Javon Pickett scored all 12 of his points in the final 20 minutes of his final game at Mizzou Arena.

Kobe Brown finished with a game-high 21 points. He was 8-for-11 from the field.

MU finished the regular season 11-20 overall and 5-13 in SEC play. After the game, head coach Cuonzo Martin was asked about his future with the program. You can watch his full news conference in the video player below.
