Game show, music showcases highlight day three of the True/False Film Festival

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Columbia's True/False Film Festival is set to enter its third day as attendees can take in over 30 films, along with other events including a game show and music showcases.

A full list of events is available on the festival's website, as films start at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with events scheduled through 10:30 p.m. Saturday night.

"Gimme Truth," is a documentary game show, set to start at 10:00 p.m. Saturday. Local filmmakers participate in the show, attempting to stump judges and contestants with pieces that are either entirely true, or entirely false.

A celebrity panel is set to participate in the show and the top three filmmakers will walk away with prizes.

Multiple music showcases are also scheduled throughout the day, located at The Rose Music Hall, The Blue Note and First Presbyterian Church all in downtown Columbia.

True/False officials also encourage festival attendees to shop and eat local, with its website listing over 40 different restaurants for people to try out.

While True/False is back in full force following a modified 2021 celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some measures are still in place.

Proof of vaccination or a negative test is required to attend the festival, with masks still being required in indoor venues such as theaters.
