St. Louis man killed in crash on I-70 in Montgomery County

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified a St. Louis man killed Tuesday night in a crash on eastbound Interstate 70 in Montgomery County.

Troopers said a car driven by 30-year-old Camaron D. Turner crashed into the back of a semi-truck trailer near the 166 mile-marker around 9:37 p.m.

The semi-truck was slowing down to turn off into a nearby rest area, according to the crash report.

Troopers said the Montgomery County coroner pronounced Thomas dead at the scene around 10:25 p.m. The driver of the semi-truck wasn't hurt in the crash.

Thomas wasn't wearing a seat belt, according to the highway patrol.
