Fulton Police take two men into custody after chase and discovering stolen firearm

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

Fulton Police said it took two men into custody on Sunday morning after a chase and discovering a stolen firearm.

Police pulled a car over around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday along the area of Hospital Drive and State Road F because of a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, officers performed a probable cause search and found multiple firearms and marijuana.

One firearm found in the car was reported to be stolen from Memphis, TN.

The driver of the car, 25-year-old Richard Broadnax of Memphis, ran from officers and was taken into custody after a chase.

His passenger, 18-year-old Randy Robinson of Memphis was taken into custody for possession of a stolen firearm.

Both men were taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Police state that all individuals are "presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law."
