Three teens charged with murder in connection to Sedalia burglary

SEDALIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Pettis County prosecutor has charged three teens with murder after a Dec. 10 burglary on the 1800 block of South Kentucky in Sedalia.

According to a release, investigators with Sedalia police identified Charles J. Boone, 15, Andrew R. Knoeferl, 16, and Jayden W. Miller, 15 were taken into custody.

Three teens are accused of shooting Tyler Simon, 32, during a burglary. Simon was pronounced dead at the scene.

All three teens are charged with second-degree murder, first-degree burglary, armed criminal action, tampering with physical evidence and first-degree assault. Boone and Knoeferl are also charged with second-degree burglary.

Knoeferl has a $250,000 cash or surety bond set. Miller and Boone have a $500,000 cash or surety bond set.
