Highway patrol identifies Ashland man killed in rollover crash on Highway 63

ASHLAND, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol has identified a man killed Thursday night after a crash on Highway 63 in Ashland.

Troopers said the rollover crash happened in the northbound lanes of the highway near Forsee Road just before 7:40 p.m. John D. Forsee, 54, lost control of his pickup truck after he hit a patch of ice, according to the crash report.

Troopers said Forsee's truck hit a sign and a culvert before flipping over. Forsee was pronounced dead at the scene by the Boone County medical examiner.

Forsee wasn't wearing a seat belt, according to the crash report.
