Power restored for many Ameren customers in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Ameren tells ABC 17 News all customers' power was restored around 3:30 p.m. The power outage was caused by an equipment failure.

The Ameren outage map reported 2,738 customers without power in Jefferson City Sunday afternoon.

Power outages appear to be in the northwest part of Jefferson City. According to the map, outages began around 1:40 p.m.
