Suspect taken into custody for Lee’s Summit Amber Alert
LEE'S SUMMIT, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police have taken the suspect into custody.
An Amber Alert announced a red SUV with two young children inside was stolen from a Lee's Summit driveway.
According to police, a 4-year-old girl and 8-month-old girl were inside the SUV with license plate ZC4X8E when a man stole the car out of the family's driveway. This happened around 3 p.m. on Sunday at SW 3rd and SW Winterpark Dr.
The suspect is a black man about 5'7 wearing a navy jacket, blue jeans and a black surgical mask.
The keys were not in the car, identified by police as a 2015 Ford Edge, when it was stolen.
