One person transported to hospital following crash in Johnson County

JOHNSON, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person was transported to the hospital in serious condition following a single vehicle crash in Johnson County just after 10:00 a.m. Friday morning.

According to a crash report, the highway patrol responded to a crash after a vehicle failed to navigate a curve on MO-58 before going off the right side of the road, overcorrecting, going off the left side of the road and began to overturn before hitting a highway sign.

The driver, Colin Morelock, 20 was transported to the hospital in serious condition with a juvenile passenger in the car only suffering from minor injuries.

Morelock was not wearing a seatbelt, at the time of the crash.
