State of Missouri reports no flu cases in Boone County

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Health Department shows the start of a decline of influenza cases across the state for the second week.

According to the weekly influenza report, there were 1,337 total cases reported in the second week of January, 14,477 total cases have been reported for this season including five flu-related deaths.

This is the first week Boone County reported zero cases.

Pettis county had the most in mid-Missouri with 118 cases.
