Mizzou men’s basketball blows lead late against Texas A&M
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Mizzou men's basketball team lost to Texas A&M 67-64 on Saturday afternoon. The Tigers led for more than 35 minutes, but the Aggies took control of the game late to come out with the victory.
MU started the game on a 12-0 run. The Aggies did not score until the 11:07 mark in the first half. The Tigers were up 34-24 at halftime.
MU started the second half strong, but Texas A&M was able to take its first lead of the game with 4:47 to go. The Tigers had some costly turnovers down the stretch, and the Aggies were able to come away with the comeback win. You can watch the extended highlights in the video player below.
Boogie Coleman led the Tigers with 14 points. Javon Pickett and DaJuan Gordon each had 12 points. MU had 17 turnovers.
MU is now 7-9 overall and 1-3 in the SEC.
