Mizzou men’s hoops gets home win over Eastern Illinois

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team beat Eastern Illinois 72-44 on Tuesday night.

Amari Davis led the way with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Kobe Brown finished with a double-double, 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Freshman Trevon Brazile made his MU debut after missing the Tigers first eight games due to a medical issue. He finished with 4 points and 2 rebounds. Boogie Coleman did not play tonight due to a "team policy," according to an MU spokesperson.

The Tigers are now 5-4 overall. Up next - MU will will renew its rivalry with the Jayhawks. The Tigers will play at No. 8 Kansas on Saturday at 2:15 p.m.
