No one hurt following fire at Parkside Manor

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Fire Department said no one was hurt following an early Saturday morning blaze at Parkside Manor.

Crews responded to Hunt Ave. after getting reports of a fire. Officials said there was a fire in one room of Parkside Manor, however sprinklers contained the fire to one room and it was out by the time officers arrived.

One person was evaluated on the scene, however no one was taken to the hospital following the fire.

Columbia Fire said Fire Marshals will be on scene to investigate the cause of the fire, which is still currently unknown.
