Teen faces serious injuries in Morgan County after hitting a tree

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A teen experienced serious injuries after hitting a tree in Morgan County Saturday evening.

Joseph Shaver, 18 of Stover, was traveling on Victoria Dr., 1177 ft. North of Deer Crest Dr. when his vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree.

The crash happened Saturday just after 4:25 p.m.

Stover was transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Hospital.

According to the crash report, it is unknown at this time if Stover was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
