One person shot in downtown Columbia Sunday morning

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

According to the Columbia Police Department, one person was shot in the 400 block of North College Ave. on Sunday morning.

CPD said one man was shot around 12:30 a.m. and drove himself to a local hospital. In a release, police said the man's injuries were non-life threatening.

Police found property damage to a local residence from the shooting.

This is an on-going investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact CrimeStoppers at 573-875-8477 to remain anonymous.
