One woman dead Saturday after a crash in Camden County

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One woman is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Camden County Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. on Route F 21' south of Indian Park Rd.

According to the crash report from Missouri Highway Patrol, the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road after failing to navigate a curve. Then, the car struck two signs, overturned, and struck a tree.

All three occupants, who were not wearing seatbelts, were ejected.

Passenger Lizajane Linebarger, 32 of Camdenton, was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:42 p.m.

Another passenger, 30-year-old Steve Montgomery of Camdenton faced moderate injuries and the driver, Jason Gardner, 33 of Camdenton was taken to Lake Regional with minor injuries.

This is Troop F's fourth fatality for October and 49th for the year 2021.
