One arrested after Jefferson City SWAT and drug task force execute a drug search warrant

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Cole County prosecutor has charged a Jefferson City man with multiple drug offenses after the Jefferson City SWAT team and the MUSTANG Drug Task Force executed a search warrant on the 500 block of Shawn Drive.

Eric Kidd is charged with second-degree drug trafficking, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Officers seized two handguns, 117 grams of crack cocaine, nearly 500 grams of marijuana and heroin packaged, according to the release.

Kidd is currently in the Cole County Jail, being held without bond.
