Man covered in blood causes disturbance in north Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police were called to the 4000th block of Arctic Fox Drive in north Columbia early Sunday morning for reports of a man covered in blood banging on doors in the neighborhood.

ABC 17 News crews on scene confirmed that the man was detained.

A resident at the scene says she was scared after the man was banging on her door and found a trail of blood outside of her home.

The Columbia Police Department says this was not related to the shooting that happened early Sunday morning in Downtown Columbia.
