Cunningham scores career-high in Phoenix playoff win

PHOENIX (KMIZ)

Former Mizzou and Rock Bridge star Sophie Cunningham scored a career-high 21 points in the Mercury's playoff win over New York on Thursday night.

Cunningham was 6-for-9 shooting from the field, including 6-for-7 from three-point range. She put Phoenix ahead by one point late in the fourth quarter with this three pointer here. 18 of Cunningham's 21 points came in the second half.

Phoenix will now play Seattle in the second round of the playoffs. The single-elimination game is on Sunday at 2 p.m. on ABC 17.
