Student found dead at Lincoln University
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Lincoln University released a statement Sunday mourning the loss of a student after he was found dead in his on-campus residence.
Dominik Dudley-Moore, a resident of Dawson Hall, was found dead Sunday. While no foul play is suspected, the incident is under investigation by the Lincoln University Police Department.
"Dominik, who was just beginning his collegiate career at Lincoln University with a goal to become a High School Athletic Director, was already a proud and active Blue Tiger," Lincoln University said.
He was elected to represent his classmates as Mr. Freshman on the Royal Court.
"Our hearts are heavy with the loss of Dominik and the University extends its deepest condolences to his family, friends and all who knew him," Lincoln University said.
Lincoln is offering counseling services through the week in Thompkins Health Center for students, faculty and staff by calling 573-681-5476.
Faculty and staff are also encouraged to utilize the University’s Employee Assistance Program for external counseling options as well.
