Missouri Task Force One helping Jefferson Parish officials with search and reconnaissance operations
JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (KMIZ)
Missouri Task Force One continues to help Jefferson Parish recover from Hurricane Ida.
On Tuesday, the task force conducted search and reconnaissance operations and collected damage assessment information for officials to use in their response and recovery planning.
On Wednesday morning, the task force witnessed a vehicle wreck. The group was able to help those in the wreck until area first responders arrived.
The task force has 6 crews out assessing north-central Jefferson Parish from Lake Pontchartrain to the Mississippi River.
