Mizzou football get set for season opener against Central Michigan

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team will host Central Michigan on Saturday at 3 p.m. It's officially year two under head coach Eli Drinkwitz.

Coach Drinkwitz said wide receiver Mookie Cooper is questionable for Saturday's game against Central Michigan. He's still dealing with a lower leg injury. The Ohio State transfer did practice on Tuesday, but he did not participate in every drill. Drinkwitz added wide out Jay Maclin is out for Week 1 as he's still working to come back from a broken forearm. MU will release its official injury report on Thursday.
