Mizzou football adds transfer linebacker

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team officially added transfer linebacker Chuck Hicks to its roster on Monday.

Hicks comes to MU after spending three seasons at Wyoming. An MU spokesperson said he'll have to sit out this season due to NCAA transfer rules. The San Diego native will have three years left of eligibility.

Hicks started five games for the Cowboys in 2020. He finished with 27 tackles, 2 sacks and 3.5 tackles for loss.

Hicks played against MU back in 2019 when the Cowboys beat the Tigers 37-31.

Also on Monday - the SEC announced its new COVID-19 cancellation policy. The conference said it will not reschedule any games this season due to the virus. If a team cannot play due to COVID-19, it will be forced to forfeit. If both teams cannot play, they will both take a loss that week.
