One man flown to hospital following boat incident

One Wisconsin man was life flighted to University Hospital in Columbia following a boat incident at The Lake of The Ozarks.

The incident, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, happened after the boat struck a large wake causing two people to hit the inside of the boat.

Zach Schemming, a 23-year-old from Wisconsin, sustained serious injuries from the crash and 34-year-old Cody Kallenbach suffered minor injuries.

Kallenbach was driven by ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach. Schemming was flow to University Hospital in Columbia.

Both men were not wearing life jackets at the time of the incident according to the crash report.
