Mizzou hoops announces non-conference schedule

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou men's basketball team announced its non-conference schedule on Wednesday.

The Tigers will open up the season on Nov. 9 against Central Michigan. Coincidentally, the football and men's basketball team will open up against the same opponent this season.

MU will make its return to Kansas on Dec. 11. The Tigers have another rivalry matchup less than two weeks later. Mizzou will take on Illinois in the Braggin' Rights game on Dec. 22 in St. Louis.

MU will wrap up its non-conference schedule with its SEC/Big 12 Challenge matchup on the road against Iowa State on Jan. 29.

Tuesday, Nov. 9: vs. Central Michigan

Monday, Nov. 15: vs. Kansas City

Thursday, Nov. 18: vs. Northern Illinois

Sunday, Nov. 21: vs. SMU in Jacksonville, Fla.

Monday, Nov. 22: vs. Florida State/LMU in Jacksonville, Fla.

Friday, Nov. 26: vs. Wichita State

Thursday, Dec. 2: at Liberty

Tuesday, Dec. 7: vs. Eastern Illinois

Saturday, Dec. 11: at Kansas (Border War)

Saturday, Dec. 18: vs. Utah

Wednesday, Dec. 22: vs. Illinois (Braggin' Rights game in St. Louis)

Saturday, Jan. 29: at Iowa State (SEC/Big 12 Challenge)
