One man seriously injured after totaling truck in Audrain County crash

AUDRAIN, Mo. (KMIZ)

One man was seriously injured in a Saturday afternoon crash in Audrain County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the accident happened at 2 p.m. along Route J near Route O.

57-year-old Carle Wolfe was driving along Route J when he ran off the left side of the road and hit a utility pole. Wolfe overcorrected, went back onto the road and then went off the left side of the roadway again. Wolfe then hit an embankment and was seriously injured.

The truck Wolfe was driving was totaled in the crash according the the report.

Wolfe was taken by ambulance to the Audrain County Community Hospital. According to the report, he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
